Handcrafted shampoo bars do not contain synthetic detergents (like commercial shampoos) so they don't strip your hair and scalp of the natural oils which keep your hair and scalp healthy and protected. Your scalp produces less oil when it is not continually being stripped down and becomes less oily with prolonged shampoo bar use. Shampoo bars are easy to use - either work up a lather in your hands and then work into your hair or rub the bar onto the scalp directly. You are mainly trying to cleanse your scalp and then if you wish you can lightly work the lather down the ends of your hair.

Ingredients: Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Castor Oil, Rice Bran Oil, Distilled Water, Sodium Hydroxide (Lye), Fragrance Oil, Pigment Violet 15, Pigment Ultramarine Blue and Mica.
